If you've been striking out on a routine basis, it's time to stop asking yourself
what's wrong with all the women out there and start asking yourself what you need
to do differently! Chances are, you are breaking one of the laws of dating for men.
Take some time to brush up, and if you find that you're doing something wrong, there
has never been a better time to correct it.
Dress Your Best
Leave the tuxedo and the three piece suit at home, but take some time to dress yourself
with care. You'll find that you'll stand taller when you know that your outfit looks
good, and it'll prove to the women out there that you know how to present yourself
well. These two factors will help immensely when you're out and about, so make sure
that you start off with this all-important factor.
Have Something to Offer
No, this doesn't mean diamonds or fancy dinners. Take a moment to make sure that
you're up to speed on current events. At the very least, skim through CNN's webpage
to make sure that you're not missing out on anything important. Nothing will turn
a potential date off the way that ignorance will, and in general, this is an easy
one to fix. Make it a habit to check the news before you head out.
Know Where You Are Going
This law for men does not, in fact, refer to asking for directions. Know where your
life is going and what you want out of it. No woman wants to be with a man who has
no ambition, so be ready to share some of your goals with her. You don't need to
dominate the conversation with it, but simply knowing what you want out of life
can be extremely attractive to a woman.
Be Adventurous....
... head out onto the dance floor! Even if you feel about as graceful as a fish
on dry land, take the plunge, take her hand and head out to where the music is.
If you don't know how to dance, ask her to teach you. This is a great way to get
to know someone better, and it shows her that you're not afraid of embarrassing
yourself.
Be Polite to the Waiter
Many shrewd women see how you treat the waiter as something that reflects on you
personally; they know that if you are rude or impatient with the waiter, that means
that you are rude and impatient in your regular life as well. Be friendly to your
waiter and to everyone you meet in general.
No Expectations
You have the right to enjoy yourself, but not at the expense of your date enjoying
herself. Don't walk into your date expecting anything more out of it than a chance
to get to know her better. If she feels that you expect something from her, you
can bet that you're not going to get it!
