Cooking With Wine Recipes

Ready Time: 1 Day 5 Hrs
"This dish is absolutely superb! I've always loved lamb and I bought it at the store not knowing what to do with it so I used my imagination. It's moist and tender, full of flavor and served best complimented with sauteed zucchini and rice."

"A simple, delicious pasta that my friend Cathi created while living in Florence. Flavors you wouldn't think to combine mix wonderfully. Don't use large, woody zucchini, but nice, young tender ones. The fresher the ricotta, the better. How much you reduce the wine depends on your ricotta: if you have fresh, slightly runny ricotta you need to let the wine reduce a little more than half, maybe two thirds, or your end product will be runny. And use a pasta with nooks to hold the sauce."

"Here's one of our favorite chicken dishes that is VERY quick to put together! (Note: You can use regular stuffing mix instead of low sodium, but in this case use only 1/2 of the seasoning packet; otherwise, the dish will be too salty.)"

"Tasty chicken recipe with wine and herbs. Made with one pan for easy clean up. Serve with noodles (put cooked noodles in pan to soak up broth for 15 minutes), or make gravy (remove chicken and add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken) and serve with mashed potatoes."

"This recipe was made as a special entree for the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club. The recipe is in general terms, so if you have cooked before, it's a snap! This dish is sweet, and should be served with a spicy, or full flavored rice side dish."
